Preferences (prefer , Would prefer , Would rather , I’d rather not)(Video)

prefer (general) = برگزيدن. ترجيح يافتن يادادن، برتري دادن، رجحان دادن، ترجيح دادن

Would prefer (specific)

Would rather (specific)

rather = سريع تر، بلكه، بيشتر، تا يك اندازه، نسبتا، با ميل بيشتري، ترجيحا

cruise = سفر دريا‌ئي‌، گشت‌ زدن‌

prefer & Would prefer => infinitive (to drink), gerund(drinking) , noun(tea or coffi)

Would rather  => bacse verb(have drink)

Would you  prefer :

taking a nap or going for a walk ?

I would (I’d) prefer a walk to a nap

to play chess or a game of  cards ?

a trip to Australia or cruise to Alaska ?

Would you rather :

watch a talk show or a movie ?

I would (I’d) rathersee a movie than watch TV .

I’d  rather  not
